Mo Harper-Desir acknowledges that the land on which she gathers on is the traditional territory of The Wiyot Tribe. Humboldt County also holds territory belonging to Karuk, Hupa, Tolowa and Yurok Tribes.

Mo would like her patrons to recognize and respect these Indigenous peoples as the traditional stewards of this land, and start to support the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous peoples and their traditional lands.
