A Word From Mo HD:

Hey y’all heyyyyy! Happy Solstice season!

It’s been a minnnnnnute! I’m so happy to be checking in with another newsletter after a very full (restful - fun - adventurous) summer. Seems my life, my business and my passions have been in a constant flux of change, and that might seem stressful or overwhelming but I’m actually super digging it….

I love sending newsletters around the solstice because it reminds me to treat myself as one with the earth and to mimic what the planet does. During Fall we are preparing for the long rest that is Winter, we are realigning ourselves, harvesting our crops and switching modes. This is a time of balance and harmony that brings new energy and insight, perfect for reflection and growth. Seems a lot of areas of my life are getting a remodel right now and I’m going with it, preparing for some down time and rest so that I can re-bloom even bigger and brighter, come Spring solstice.

October will mark my 4th year of being in business as Mo HD Creates, although my work spans that timeline, it’s nice to recognize the moments I work with intention, so happy 4th rotation to Mo HD Creates! Since then everything has kind of been going to plan, so much has happened, so much has not happened but with trusting myself and my guides I am okay with things not going to plan as long as I'm handling it with style and grace and accepting what’s to come.

I especially love that it's our 4th rotation because 4 has always been my favorite number - with no particular reasoning- but upon further research I’ve learned 4 is also my true birth number!! I love to draw guidance and praise through the mystics so I will leave you with some numerology and tarot references to the number 4.

Numerology reminds us that Numerology Number 4 is associated with planet Rahu and indicates energetic, knowledgeable, clever, and confident individuals with leadership skills. They are good at keeping secrets, love creativity, and have a sharp memory. However, they can be rebellious and overconfident sometimes. Which is def ya girl to a tee. Also I will call in the power of the fourth card in the Major Arcana, The Emperor.

The Emperor will often be asking you to confront difficult power dynamics as they manifest in your own life, such as your relationship with authority, feelings of powerlessness, complicity in in oppressive structures, your own use or abuse of different kinds of power, and more. This card signifies responsibility, courage, and intelligence.

Thus, I’ll leave you with the affirmation that being unsure is a part of the process, trusting yourself, your courage, your intellegence is a learned skill to be mastered and finding and understanding your power no matter how small it seems will further support you standing in your purpose!

So happy bday to us and cheers to a year of creativity, knowledge and some.

Peace out - Mo
